about

A space for paying attention to the noise. The beautiful, complex noise that emerges where technology and challenging art intersect.

$ whoami

embedded linux engineer and an active contributor to the kernel. spending my time in the deep layers of operating systems, writing code that lives at the boundary of hardware and software. My professional world is one of logic, structure, and extreme technical rigor.

But my passions extend into worlds of structured chaos and creative expression. I’m a curious explorer of the avant-garde in music, film, art (and pretty much everything).

Kernel Noise is my personal lab where these two worlds collide. It’s a platform to document my adventures in both domains. Here, I talk about the elegance of a well-written kernel patch, the brutalism of a forgotten industrial building, the improvisational freedom of a Sun Ra Arkestra performance, and the philosophical questions in a Tarkovsky film.

My goal is bridging this gap completely by creating experimental art projects using the very systems I help build. This blog is the chronicle of that journey.

If you’re also fascinated by niche stuff, from low-level code to avant-garde art, then you’re in the right place.
